Our Tools

Overview

In our every day working environment we already use a lot of tools that can facilitate our jobs.  And something take away some of those boring repetitive tasks.

Although there are a lot of tools already on the market we do see that there are still some tools missing.  And especially when we are looking at tools to make our Microsoft analysis server experience even greater.

So for that reason we decided to maybe publish a few of the tools that we use, so you can also take advantage of them.

The first tool we are soon publishing is a small tool called AS processor.  When you need to process an analysis server database/cube/dimension or partition you normally would create a SSIS package.  We use a different method.  We developed an application that reads out a XML file that contains the processing information.  So no more creating SSIS packages with all connection information.  recreating the same package for every environment.  Or the need to change the package when a new dimensions is added.
